coaching models:
Directive: In this model, the coach serves as the content expert and is brought in to help a struggling teacher. The coach can model lessons, instructional approaches, and provide resources to support their coachee.
Facilitative: In this model, the relationship between the coach and coachee is more collaborative. The coach helps support a teacher to improve and grow within their practice. The coach can providing the time and space to reflect, analyze, observe, and experiment with their coachee to improve their teaching skills and craft.
Transformational: In this model, the elements of both the directive and facilitative coaching models are combined to change/alter the coachee's behavior, beliefs, and being to enhance their practice along with everyone else around them.
